Quarterly Newsletter

Issue Two

Welcome to our second issue of the ETC newsletter providing you with up-to-the-minute information on the relocation industry. We hope that you continue to find the information informative and useful. Our goal is to assist you in your day-to-day operations and offer you insights into the trends in the relocation industry.

There is much “TALK” these days, within the real estate and relocation industry, about diversity. Many corporations have a diversity initiative within their company because they recognize that diversity pays---it makes good business sense and allows for better competitive positioning. The real estate and relocation industry has lagged behind in this arena. Now the industry is being forced to look at how it will ready itself to serve a customer that is more likely to be diverse. We have some definite opinions about what we think we can do to address this issue. I encourage you to check out The Importance of Supplier Diversity piece in this newsletter. It is time to stop talking and to do something about this issue.

As always, we are committed to meet your needs. If you have any questions or suggestions for topics to be addressed in future issues, please contact us. We pride ourselves on establishing great business relationships and welcome your feedback.

If you are not yet using our services, please note some of the testimonials from our most satisfied clients.

Enjoy the spring season.

Welcome

Kate, Gail and Jerry

to the ETC Relocation Team!

Gerard Schuhl, CRP, has joined ETC as Manager of Corporate Services.  Jerry brings more than 13 years of relocation experience with him to our company.  Jerry is real estate licensed in PA and has had his CRP designation since 1996.  He most recently worked for Weichert Relocation as a Senior Homesale Counselor.  Jerry strongly believes that once a transferee knows he is working in their best interest, the less they will worry about all the details involved in their relocation. He works to instill trust and finds that by the end of the process, many transferees feel strongly that Jerry is their friend.

Gail Curran, CRP, is our newest addition at ETC, and is joining us as Supplier Network Manager. She has worked for Cendant Mobility and the Century 21 System managing relocation-related programs.  Most recently she was an independent consultant with ADP, implementing their relocation services program to ADP associates and their supplier network.  Gail has received the ERC Meritorious Service Award, has served on the ERC Industry Advisory Council, was profiled in Mobility Magazine, and was named one of the Top Women in Relocation by National Relocation and Real Estate in 1997.

Kate Cucinotta, CRP, has also joined us at ETC, and is exclusive account manager for University of Pennsylvania. She is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and has been licensed in real estate since 1986.  She has had a real estate career with Roach Brothers and Fox & Lazo and garnered her relocation experience with Commonwealth, then Weichert Relocation.  She joined Trident Mortage in 2003 and we are pleased to have her join the Employee Transfer Corporation team.

"First impressions are lasting ones.  The way that an employee is treated during the relocation process plays a large role in the initial impression of the Company.  ETC can always be relied on for all of the aspects of relocation that are important to the Company and the individual being relocated:  communication, education, professionalism, follow through and cost control."
